How to visit Manali. #manaliblog

Okay so this is my first ever blog. In this lockdown when I got bored of everything, I thought to do something creative. (velle bethne se acha hai kuch kiya jayeee) 

So last year I went to Manali. And I felt that for those who are planning to go on a vacation after lockdown, there is nothing better than Manali.

Now I come to the point without wasting your time. 

From Delhi  there are several private and government buses running between the Delhi and manali. (i usually prefer government buses) 

The timings are as following:-

1)The ordinary HRTC bus -6:40am and 5:40pm

2)Ac volvo hrtc buses- 6pm, 7pm, 7:35pm, 8pm,8:26pm, 9:03pm, 9:50pm and 11:15pm*

You can catch these buses from KASHMERE GATE ISBT.

Duration of the buses:-

The bus will take approx 14 to 15 hours to reach Manali from Delhi. 

Bus fare:-

The bus ticket price from DELHI to MANALI buses are

767₹- for ordinary bus

1236₹ for 2+2 AC bus

1668₹ for AC volvo bus

So these are the timings duration and fare from Delhi 

to manali. 

Now we'll see how much time and money you have to invest if you travel from chandigarh. 

From chandigarh the bus timings are :-

8:30am, 12noon, 8:40pm and 10pm.

(some of these buses are coming from Delhi so you should check online availability of the seats) 

Duration:- it will take approximately 10 hours to reach Manali from chandigarh. 

Ticket price:- 

Ordinary bus- 504₹

Volvo bus- 800-1000₹

So when you reach manali you have to find a hotel you can find thousands of hotels there and this is as per your choice i'm not going to suggest because this is my first blog and I don't know that I can write any of the hotels name in it or not. 

If you are a solo traveller or group of friends with a little budget you can go for hostels and home stays:)) 

After reaching manali finding a hotel now its time to visit some amazing places there. 

   We will divide your vacation into 3 days   

Day one:- on the first day of vacation we will visit 

1. Mall road

2.Hidimba temple

3. Manu temple 

4. Vashisht temple

(you can hire a taxi or walk around as everybody in our himachal likes to walk BTW I'm also from himachal) 

   Day two :- 

On day two you have two options

1. Two climb up the jogini falls. 

2. Book a traveller or taxi and visit Solang Valley 

 Both of these places needs a whole day to visit. 

Day three:-

1. Naggar Castle :- for naggar Castle there are some local buses and shared taxis are available with a ticket price of ₹50-₹100.

And after coming from the castle you can roam around the mall Road eat some local food. 

For day three you have an another option if you are visiting manali in summers(May-September,October) you can visit rohtang pass, you have to hire a taxi or a hrtc bus is also available from manali to rohtang pass whose ticket you will get for ₹600. 

In 600₹, the bus will take you to the Rohtang pass, will wait for you there until you roam around and bring your back to Manali.

And after this your Manali trip is completed.

You can book your return tickets from the hrtc official website. 

Some of the manali to Delhi bus timing are :-

2:15pm, 3pm, 4pm, 5:05pm, 6:30pm and 8pm

Manali to chandigarh bus timings:-

9am, 10:45am, 7:30pm, 9pm
